Learn how to decorate buttercream cakes

Date: Saturday, July 19th, 2025

Time: 12pm to 3pm

Location: E. Hastings & Boundary Rd, Burnaby

Price: $190 per person

What we will learn:

Cake Layering: Techniques for filling, stacking and leveling the cake.
Coating: Methods for achieving a smooth surface.
Piping Techniques: How to use and handle a piping band and various piping tips for different shapes.
Flower Piping: How to pipe flowers with a piping tip and a flower nail.
Flower Transfer: Techniques for transferring flowers onto a cake.
Final Arrangements: Creating exquisite flower and bow arrangements as show in the provided photo.

* This is a decorating-only class and does not include demonstrations or instructions on cake baking or buttercream making.

* The recipe and instructions for making buttercream will be provided after the class.

* Each participant will receive a 6" cake to decorate.

* This class will focus on piping and masking techniques. The photos provided serve as a general guideline for the final design.

* Please note that there may be slight variations, as different piping tips and techniques may be used during the class. However, the key decorative elements—such as the roses and bows—will be included in the final product.

* Depending on the pace of the class, it may run up to 30 minutes shorter or longer.

Terms & Conditions

All our classes are hands-on and designed for beginners aged 19 and over.
All materials and equipment will be provided during the class.
These classes focus solely on decorating. Instructions or demonstrations for buttercream making and cake baking will not be included.
The recipe and instructions for making buttercream will be provided after the class.
Full payment is required to secure your seat.
Please arrive 5 minutes early, as classes start promptly.

Refund Policy & Schedule Changes

This class is non-refundable and non-exchangeable. However, you may send someone in your place if you are unable to attend.
In the event that we need to cancel the class, participants will be notified 72 hours in advance, and a full refund will be provided.
The listed price is per participant.

We are passionate about cakes and the art of decorating. Our classes teach individuals how to decorate a variety of themed cakes using different types of frostings. Our sessions are enjoyable, informative, and hands-on. Join us to decorate a cake and learn something new!

All our classes will be held at our Burnaby studio located near E. Hastings St & Boundary Rd, Burnaby. While we do not have a permanent storefront for public visits, we are always available to assist you via email or Instagram. Feel free to reach out to us—we're here to help!

Our classes are designed to be interactive, providing all required materials and equipment. Participants will also receive a takeaway box for their creations.
All sessions welcome people aged 19 and above, regardless of skill level, unless specified otherwise. Prices are per individual participant.
We recommend early booking to secure your place, as classes accommodate a maximum of 6 participants. This ensures dedicated time and attention for each attendee.
